Abhyanga Ayurvedic Treatment
According to Ayurvedic tradition, the body is an individual combination of 5 elements (space, air, fire, water and earth) which shape person's unique constitution (dosha).
There are three energies known as Dosha and classified as follows:
- Vata Dosha
- Pita Dosha
- Kapha Dosha

Ayurvedic Body Massage (Abhyanga)
Ayurvedic Body Massage is a purifying and invigorating therapy which combines traditional ayurvedic massage techniques and acupressure of Marma points (specific energy centres), promoting healing, releasing physical and emotional blockages, helping to eliminate toxins from the system, regenerating the whole body for renewed health and vitality.
The ayurvedic body massage provided by Gods Own Country Ayurvedic Resorts involves massage with warm organic extra virgin coconut oil, organic sesame oil ( or other oil if requested by client) which can be combined with unique ayurvedic herbal oils leaving skin revitalized.
Abhyanga can be performed by one or two therapists. The 4 hands( 2 therapist version ) is an intensive, synchronized massage resulting in a deeply beneficial treatment.
Abhyanga can improve the symtons of rheumatism, relaxes muscles, reduce joint stiffness, aids in the recovery from fatigue, reduces the signs of aging, and promotes sleep and creates a glowing luster to the skin.
